Picturesque

This winter has been a long harsh one. However the folks who do ice sculptures are happy I would reckon. A couple of days ago I came across a few ice pictures in ‘Neatorama’. Now this is really what I call ice sculpture, done by none other than Mother Nature herself. I thought I’d share a couple with you, these were shot in Estonia.

How utterly beautiful! Yet how terrible it must be for the trees and plants etc. And how deadly for any human to have to walk on this. Truly amazing photos Eric.

Oh they are incredible. We can't match nature can we? After all, we are only a small part of the whole. I wish I could draw as I see but Mother Nature can take any medium and make it absolutely breath taking.

Yep, the best artist in the entire world is good old Mum Nature! :-)

Yes it is Janice, but the

scene is actually the Valaste Waterfall — the highest waterfall in Estonia at 85 feet (26 meters) — artificially created by directing the water from a drainage trench to the Gulf of Finland at Valaste, near the Ontika Cliff.
the description is from another website where I discovered they also ran these pics. It has actualy become a tourist attraction now. :)

Yes Z it would be wonderful to be able to recreate Mum nature in your drawings, think of the possibilities. :)

Hello Seamus, nice seeing you again.

I think we can all agree that nobody does it like MN does it and maybe that's just as well. :)
