O’er Sand and Water, Sea of Green.
The Golf Ball-
Soars, as an Eagle.
Playful can be,
At a ripe old age-
A state of mind.
A sleepless night.
The written word-
Demands attention.
Endless days
Sleepless nights-
Insomnia.

Nice one Eric! You still have a playful mind. (Going for a kip myself now.)
Thank you Swen. The mind has to stay alive, if only in dreams at times. :)
Good morning, Eric
I came by last night and read this & enjoyed it very much.
Came back now to leave a comment.
And I enjoyed reading it all the more this morning!
Good writing, Eric.
Thank you & have a good day.
Take care, my friend!
Be well!
All my best to you, always!
Margie
Thank you Margie, you are always so generous with your comments. :)
You must have had a restless night.... :(
It is good to see you back writing once more, hope you are settling in again. :)
Best wishes
Eric
like the soaring golf ball :)
Hey NN! Nice to see you again, glad you like.. :)
Eric, These are so good. I knew from your post title that you must have some more haiku tucked away somewhere, so I went in search of your first haiku. I liked them all, too, especially the one about thinking of blades of grass in the wintertime.
I am so glad you enjoyed them Forsythia.
You are right about the others, I did put in a hyperlink, so all you would need is to click to get the other poems.
Haha yes winter would make anyone think of green grass I think.. :)
I really like the insomnia one!
I think most of us can relate to that one Z LOL :)
Having trouble sleeping? Get up to write in those sleepless moments?
Very nicely done.
