Waning Days

Just a reminder of the aftermath of the storm we had last Saturday.

A couple of days ago we had a very hard frost, providing for some good shots. It was interesting to notice the stars in the skies above the trees. ~ These then are we hope the last waning days of winter, temps today are now up to the plus 5/6 side, can't argue with that. Have a great weekend everyone. (clickable thumbnails)

A shot of the frost covered trees, notice the 'Big Dipper' over the trees

Somewhere under the snow, is my parking spot! No! That is not a 'Johnny on the Spot!' Just the outdoor storage.

Interesting tree frost shot.

Hi Leon, yes spring is in the air despite the lingering snow, another week should see the end of it.
Glad you like the pics. Have a good weekend my friend. :)

Beautiful photos Eric. Gosh you still have a lot of snow! I can imagine you will really enjoy spring after all those storms you folks got down your way. It will be nice to see the park in spring clothing :)

Thanks Janice & yes the snow is still hanging in there, but the temps are picking up now.

Spring is almost here though and with that will come trips to the park & pictures of course. :)

Oh my word. No snow here, just bare trees and some green beginning to show here and there.

This is still a little strange here. We still have the snow but temps are warming, so the slow thaw process has now begun.. Finally. :)

Beautiful winter photos, Eric! Here in Germany we have already temperatures in double figures, but with a grey, wet sky. I prefer your winter landscape.

Hi Swen, yes I know what you mean. I have experienced some of the European skies that you describe, much like England at times. I passed through Amsterdam a couple of times & parts of Germany years ago.

Glad you enjoyed the pics. :)
