Eric - this must be the tail end of what we had over the weekend. It's certainly brightened up here and the temperature's coming up. Bizarre weather systems!
I feel your pain. After being on vacation in Arizona for 2 weeks and coming back to 20-30 degree weather. rain/snow mix, I had enough. Hopefully I'll be packing the wife, kids and dog soon and moving to the southwest.
Ypu should send it over here to Blighty! My kids are praying for snow but it never comes...it has a fleeting novelty personally speaking so I do sympathise!
I have been a bit of a World traveler. I was born in England and at age 32 moved to Canada. More recently this last few years I have come down with a debilitating illness that although it has no cure it can be managed sensibly. My interests now are my lovely wife Elizabeth, nature and music. I love writing at which I am always working on improving.

Sangilak
He burst forth from the past to now
Fiercely proud, strong, erect.
His torso adorned and glowing still,
Remnants of the days of battle royal,
The figures, depicting scars from days of old.
I first saw him standing there -
Covered it seemed in a hue of snow?
On his chest emblazoned in red,
“Is that a red maple leaf I see,
Or some such facsimile ?”
I said astounded! ~ hesitantly, ~
“You are Canadian ~ aren’t you”

Oh my goodness Eric! You sure are getting hammered out there. Keep warm and take care my friend.
Hi Z, yes that's about the size of it indeed, I'm tired of posting about winter! :)
Hello Janice, I can't believe this is still going on. We've been getting snow now on & off since last November..
Somebody up there is having fun I think. :)

Good luck to you & the family Augs. :)
Hi Stacey, yes it does make for nice pictures, more suited to Christmas though I think.
Spring is on the doorstep and will be here soon. :)
Don't blame you Eric. There comes a point...
Hi Z.. I guess you could say that LOL :)
Eric,
Somehow, it looks good and beautiful to me... may be because i have seen it just in pictures, and not experienced the 'Real' thing..!!

That is so true Shades.
You being such a good photographer can appreciate such things of beauty. :)
