Primrose

You are mostly familiar with our outings last summer to Willow Park. Since then we have moved and are again blessed with living next to another beautiful park and lake.

When you live in an apartment you miss having a garden. We have tried to resolve that by using planter boxes of various size and shapes to grow flowers and herbs.

This annual is Elizabeth’s favorite. I believe it is called an “African Daisy” (osteospermum), very beautiful and picturesque, so many flowers budding.

Oh those are some of my favorite daisies ever Eric. I had some purple ones one summer and absolutely loved them. Your yellow ones are beautiful!

I love container gardens. I think it's awesome how you can move them around to suit your mood. :)

Hi Eric,
I can understand that you miss having a garden, but look at it this way, the park and lake that is right next door to you, is like your own garden, but without the hassel of having to mow and water the lawn (LOL) ;-)
From the looks of your planter boxes with your beautiful flowers in them, you have made your own personal garden, that looks absolutely gorgeous.
Hope your well Eric :-D

I love those too but never have much luck with them - think it's too wet here. There's just something about flowers that gives one such a lift.

It's just nice to see things growing Z, after all the snow over winter.

Next year Elizabeth wants to go to pink daisies.. :)

Hi Stacey, yes I agree with your concept of the park next door, it comes with free services! LOL

Our boxes do seem to be flourishing very well and do indeed present a beautiful sight. :)

Hi Janice, I have to agree about the damp wet climate in B.C... :)

Some parts there do prosper though I think.

There's nothing like the smell of fresh cut flowers on the table. :)

Sir:

Very nice image. I have never seen daisy-like flowers with a violet center before. Very attractive.
