Life is full of transition and transformation...in every aspect one can experience transition and transformation. Weather factor is an inevitable wonder. The pictures are so beautiful Eric. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
I have been a bit of a World traveler. I was born in England and at age 32 moved to Canada. More recently this last few years I have come down with a debilitating illness that although it has no cure it can be managed sensibly. My interests now are my lovely wife Elizabeth, nature and music. I love writing at which I am always working on improving.

Sangilak
He burst forth from the past to now
Fiercely proud, strong, erect.
His torso adorned and glowing still,
Remnants of the days of battle royal,
The figures, depicting scars from days of old.
I first saw him standing there -
Covered it seemed in a hue of snow?
On his chest emblazoned in red,
“Is that a red maple leaf I see,
Or some such facsimile ?”
I said astounded! ~ hesitantly, ~
“You are Canadian ~ aren’t you”

We didn't have any winter this year, and I miss it. Two years ago, we had one for the books, so I don't really miss it THAT much. :-)
Glad you enjoyed them Steph, nice seeing you again.. Things are good right now thanks for caring my friend.. :)

Our winter has been all over the map Forsythia,, got snow again last 2 days.. all that after everywhere was clear, bitter temps too..
Eric, hope you are doing well. Folks were just asking about you on the AbleMinds forums. Dropped your links there so the folks could find you.
You and the Lady take care, be safe, and stay out of that snow.
Love from Lisa, the cats, and Me!
Hi Roy and thanks for doing that.
Things are not too bad at the moment and the snow is almost all gone what bit we had. We have been very lucky where we live this year.
Up another rung in the ladder but the top is still a ways off! LOL
Our love to you and Lisa and of course the kitty's.. :)
Stay well my friend..
